Voibe and Blurt look almost identical in a screenshot: hold a key, talk, watch text appear. The differences sit underneath. Voibe supports Windows and Intel Macs, which Blurt does not, but its Windows product is cloud only and every version wants an account. Blurt is narrower on purpose and cheaper for it.

A Windows app, Intel Mac support, a Developer Mode that resolves file paths and variable names in editors, snippet expansion, and cloud fallback when you want raw speed. Blurt has none of those. Both give you 30 days to ask for your money back.

Common questions
Is Voibe on-device or cloud?
Both, depending on platform and setting. On an Apple Silicon Mac it can run on the Neural Engine. On Windows it is cloud only. If a single unambiguous answer matters to you, that is the reason to look at Blurt, which has no cloud mode to configure.
Do I need an account for Blurt?
No. You download the app, use it for 14 days, and if you buy, you paste a licence key. The app checks that key roughly weekly and sends nothing else. There is no email address stored in the app.

Which is faster?
Voibe's cloud mode can be very fast because it is not bound by your hardware. Blurt returns text in well under a second for a normal sentence on Apple Silicon, and its Parakeet engine is quicker again on English. Both feel instant in practice; the difference is whether speed costs you a round trip to a server.
